Membership Is By Application
Her Book Society is a welcoming and engaged community where women can connect, share perspectives, and enjoy meaningful conversations around the books we read. Membership remains intentionally intimate to help preserve the sense of connection and community that makes the book club special.
Her Book Society primarily celebrates books by Black authors and stories featuring Black characters. Our community welcomes different perspectives while creating a respectful, engaging space to read and connect.
Selections range from romance and contemporary fiction to drama, romantic suspense, healing journeys, fantasy romance, and other engaging adult fiction.
Membership applications are accepted during designated enrollment periods. Applications are typically reviewed within 2–5 business days.
